Lomé is a sustainable agriculture researcher, and joined the Trace and Save team in 2022. She studied Plant- and Soil Sciences at the University of Stellenbosch, majoring in agronomy and soil science. She then furthered her studies at the same institution and obtained a masters degree in agronomy. Fuelled by a passion for sustainable farming, she is determined to shape the agricultural landscape of tomorrow. She has a key interest in nutrient cycling, nutrient management and how to improve nutrient use efficiencies.
Beyond the world of agriculture, you'll find Lomé spending time with friends and family, visiting and exploring new places, and soaking in the sun on the beach or somewhere in nature. She further enjoys playing sports and games with friends. When it's time to recharge, she embarks on a caffeine-fueled adventure, exploring new coffee shops and embracing the art of coffee tasting.
